This Cookie Policy explains how BCircle, operated by furbsh-Tech Ltd, uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies.
1. Current position
BCircle currently uses only technologies needed to operate the service or remember a user-requested preference.
The public BCircle site currently has:
- no advertising trackers;
- no behavioural advertising cookies; and
- no third-party product-analytics system such as Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog or Mixpanel.
BCircle therefore does not currently require a general "Accept all cookies" consent banner solely for analytics or advertising cookies, because those technologies are not presently used.
2. Essential authentication cookies
BCircle uses authentication/session cookies through its authentication system to keep signed-in users authenticated and to protect access to the private application.
These cookies are necessary to provide the secure logged-in service requested by the user. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Exact cookie names and lifetimes may be generated by the authentication framework and may change as the implementation is updated. BCircle will keep this policy aligned with the production configuration.
3. Preference storage
BCircle may store a preference on the user's device to remember settings that the user chooses, such as light or dark appearance.
Where a preference technology is used only to provide a setting explicitly requested by the user, BCircle treats it as functional/necessary for that requested preference rather than using it for tracking.
4. Similar technologies
References to cookies in this policy also include comparable technologies such as browser local storage where they store or access information on a user's device.
BCircle does not deliberately store authentication credentials or server-authoritative session material in localStorage.
5. Third-party links are not BCircle cookies
BCircle may provide user-triggered links to services such as Apple Maps, Google Maps or Google Calendar. When a user chooses to open one of those services, the third party may use its own cookies or device technologies under its own privacy and cookie practices.
Those third-party technologies are not set by BCircle merely because the link is displayed.
6. If we add non-essential technologies later
If BCircle introduces analytics, advertising, marketing pixels or other non-essential storage/access technologies, we will:
- update this policy;
- classify the technology and its purpose;
- request consent before using it where required;
- allow users to refuse non-essential technologies without losing core service access; and
- provide a way to change or withdraw cookie choices.
We will not treat browser settings alone as consent where applicable law requires active consent.
7. Managing cookies
Users can manage or remove cookies through their browser/device settings. Blocking essential authentication cookies may prevent the private BCircle application from working correctly.
If BCircle introduces a consent-management interface for non-essential technologies, users will also be able to change their choices through that interface.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the service or technologies used by BCircle change. The current version and effective date will be published on BCircle.
